Central Baptist Church - “A church at the heart of the city, with the city at our heart!”

Sunday services

Sunday 30 April 2017

On Sunday morning we look at the last three verses of Romans 9 part of which reads: “See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall, and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame.” It was always in the heart of God to remove the shame of his people and this is what Jesus did on the cross. But he was and still is a stumbling stone to some. In the evening we continue in our ‘Why?’ Series looking at ‘Why Serve?’ Once again we find that the answer runs deeper than we might think! In Him, Jim.
