Prayer @ Central
Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. James 5:13.
The prayer team at Central brings together members of the church family who would love to pray with you after the Sunday morning and evening service. Our aim is to ensure a space for prayer following Sunday worship, whether to give thanks, respond to the Spirit’s lead, or to bring our needs before our Father. After each Sunday service, you will find two or three of us at the front left hand corner of the church, by the organ.
If coming for prayer in person is difficult, we also have a prayer box in the same area, and also in the downstairs link area. Our prayer boxes allow you to briefly pen your prayer request and place it in the box. A member of the prayer team will collect your request and pray for you in confidence.
On the first Sunday of every month we meet from 9.30am to 10.10am in the church sanctuary for a time of open prayer, led by our pastors or elders, prior to the morning service.
Prayer and Fellowship monthly meeting
A prayer and Bible study evening takes place in the Ward Road building on first Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm. The format for the evening often varies but usually includes times for open prayer as well as a short Bible-based message.
